If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Giving Research to Vanderbilt

Post by OddDuck »

Hi, folks. As you can see, I'm back today.

Just as an FYI (to anyone who might be interested), as I mentioned in another thread, my appointment with the Vanderbilt docs (Dr. Sriram's team) is coming up on the 28th. In spite of my own issues, I have ALL my notes, reports, and research I did (and posted on this website) all ready to hand over to them! I still plan on asking how their minocycline and chlamydia research is going, also. I can simply relate it to how well they think that might work for MD or ALS, too. I read that minocycline was also being looked at for ALS.

Hey...this all works for me! And besides, the only drug they give right now for ALS, is Rilutek (which lo and behold, has many of the same properties as desipramine, too. hehehe.....) So no matter what I might have, I'm still taking one of the best meds in my humble opinion that could possibly help either disease - MS or ALS. hehehe....

I already researched and see that I can add BOTH minocycline AND rilutek to my already existing regimen with no interaction, too. No need to change anything.........just add to it!

Hi, Deb. I was thinking about you this weekend. I knew that appointment was coming up soon. Are you seeing Sriram or Moses? I thought you were seeing Moses, so I may just be confused. Seem to be that way a lot these days! I'm hormonally challenged...

How are you doing? I hadn't heard from you in awhile, and I have been busier than usual and not posting as much as before. Colby has been doing so well that I've not really had anything new to say as far as he goes.

Please keep us filled in on your post appointment comments! I'll be anxious to see how this bunch receives your info. Take care!
