Tysabri data at AAN

Post by bromley »

Some good news on Tysabri - no more PML case identified.

I saw that the share price for Elan and Biogen had gone up today because of the positive data. Maybe it's time for Harry Z to sell his shares in both companies and donate his profit to Lori who is organising a party in Florida.

With the recent news on how Merck hid data on Vioxx for a few years, I don't think that I'll sell just yet, Ian :-)

On a serious note, I have read several reports on the net from a number of Tysabri users. The comments seem to follow the general pattern of MS patients on the various MS approved drugs....some are doing very well, others not noticing much if any difference and others having to stop because of serious side effects. I think it's going to take at least another year of Tysabri use before any meaningful data shows up.
