Hmmm...I think you're right. I don't think it's always been this way, but it has always gone through these phases when there is a hot topic and some people invariably don't think the hot topic is all it's cracked up to be. As an old-timer, I remember back in ought 4 there was a mighty ruckus raised about LDN and antibiotics. Then over the years, those were replaced by tovaxin and revimmune and now CCSVI.
Hopefully the evidence for CCSVI builds up to mountain-size and solves all the world's problems.

yeah...and I apologize for anyway I've made it not so fun, JL. But really, it's all dig's fault for finding Zambonijimmylegs wrote:thanks cheer, i'm sure i will.. it's not as nice to read stuff though .. sigh..
dignanlegs, thanks that makes a lot of sense. i did miss the early noughties so i guess this is just the first time for me, to be in on this part of the cycle.

But if it's any consolation, we'll find out one way or the other if this is it, and either it'll be a big party, or stuff will return to the norm.

Hey hey hey, I thought we had agreed it was Dom who discovered Zamboni! I like blaming Dom, especially because he's not posting anymore, he's the ideal scapegoat (and maybe he'll come out of retirement to defend himself).
jimmy, I agree that the fighting kind of sucks, but I'm torn because I like the "constructive debate" portion of the discussion. Too bad those debates cross the line sometimes.

@cheer: hehehe. yea i'm sure it's going to be an important part of the puzzle, i just wish people weren't getting all agro about it all the time
i guess it's easy to be more laid back when you're like me - not that sick and no-one depending on you.

@dignan: lol! see this is the TIMS i like. constructive debate has always been great here, IMO... exactly dig - it's the line crossing that can skedaddle any time! sometimes i just can't even bring myself to contribute to a topic... when the feel is so hostile.. not going to stick my neck out.

To Jimmylegs, Cheerleader, Digan etc.......
This site had been a Godsend for me. I have learned more in the 1+ year since I discovered this site than in the 7 years that have been trying to learn about MS. I need you guys! You may not need me - but I really need all of you and your opinions -good or bad, right or wrong, proven or ancedotal.
I don't know what else to say.
