Aw geez...it's Lisinopril. I just filled out a med history for my new prescription plan yesterday and noted it as my only definite drug allergy. Of course Lisinopril is good for MS. I'm allergic to everything that's good for MS.Talisker wrote:Blood pressure pill could help treat multiple sclerosis, claims scientist.

I have adverse reactions to almost all Omega 3s, (some severe, like from fish oil, walnuts, flaxseed oil, shellfish), some problems with vitamin D (and a few others), and had an immediate bowel/bladder improvement when I stopped taking vitamins altogether for awhile. I generally liked LDN, but I progressed to a cane halfway through my year of taking it.

Drug companies should use me to detect whether treatments will possibly be effective for MS and deserve further study. Maybe if they find something that kills me it will be the CURE for MS in everyone else.

Here's a link to another article about the study on UK MS Society website.

Dx'd with MS & HNPP (hereditary peripheral neuropathy) 7/03 but must have had MS for 30 yrs before that. I've never taken meds for MS except 1 yr experiment on LDN. (I found diet, exercise, sleep, humor, music help me the most.)

I think this news report is related to this finding, at least the people involved.
