thx q as a general thing i'm not really into breakfast cereal although i have really enjoyed the occasional bowl of kamut puffs back in the day
i tend not to bake or make pudding either so it kind of takes the need for much milk out of the equation, i guess.
by and large i drink water, tea, and coffee. pretty boring! i like my smidge of milk or cream in there

I picked up some rice milk the other day and I am digging it! Taste great with breakfast cereals, so good to have something besides oatmeal for breakfast haha! I have yet to try baking anything with it yet so we will see how that goes.
jimmylegs, talk about cream and milk, I used to be a coffee addict, then switched to decaf then gave it up altogether, but I know most of the addiction was because I loved heavy whipping cream in my coffee!! (okay, there was a day I put Baily's in the coffee too AS the cream, but that was back in the heyday..)
BUT, because I need something warm and comforting sometimes I use the hemp milk not only in my protein shakes, but also in my teas and now there's a product called Roastaroma, put out by Celestial teas, which is a delicious blend of roasted barley, roasted chicory, roasted carob, cinnamon, allspice, and chinese star anise, no caffeine and that makes a delicious 'coffee'. I add the hemp milk, and stevia, of course, because I swear if there were no such thing as 'sweet' I would lose it altogether, I'm sure.
Me and The Sweet Tooth are very close, although since I got myself off sugar (which was no small task for this addict) The Tooth now has to be happy with stevia. I was living in Italy and it was illegal there, even when a friend tried to send it through the mail it was returned to her, so in desperation an Italian friend brought me some from Germany! That was a real trial for The Tooth, waiting for that stevia...let me tell you!
I have a great almond cookie recipe for anyone who wants an alternative cookie without flour (but I do add egg whites) and they take only ten minutes to make, a great snack. Pm me if you would like it.
