Re: So excited about the finding you all!
If you are in U.S. I suggest you go to Boston. There is the best diagnostic/research clinic for M.S.
It is the most frustrating, elusive illness. You're right about family doctors symbolically waving garlic so that it will go away.

Re: Just returned from M.S. clinic.... first visit
Funny you mentioned the difficulty in diagnosis being over the expected age........ Like...."sorry guys for upsetting your statistics" I KNOW it's M.S. the doctors are still waffling in spite of prescribing an M.S. drug......and me showing symptoms and the lesions on the M.R.I. It's sooooo...

Re: Hello!
Finally, I have learnt how to work this websight. Sorry to hear you are stuck at home. I have been too. Do you have friends? Family? I find that friends and family find it hard to be emotionally supportive long term. The best thing would be an M.S. group maybe even meeting in you house. P.S.As I cou...

Re: Hi all, currently in limbo but getting closer to DX.
I know that being in limbo is the hardest part.
I often feel.........."just give me the news and let me get on with my life...."
Anyway, hang in there (not literally)

Re: Newly diagnosed.literally "out of the blue"
The really frustrating part is there is no definitive answer......... Is it or isn't it? More tests.... another M>R>I> in December.everything takes so much time. The M.S. clinic suggested Provigil for the extreme fatigue........ which hasn't yet been approved by the health insurance clinic. Which he...

Re: Just returned from M.S. clinic.... first visit
Have been given Provigil. Does anyone have any info before I begin? Hi Pip, and welcome. As another MS patient who received a surprise, "instant" MS diagnosis in the absolute prime of life (post age 50, of course), I wish I had time right now to ask more details about how you rece...

Newly diagnosed.literally "out of the blue"
Shalom to you all. I am newly diagnosed with M.S. and there are sooooooooooo many unanswered questions that I have. I feel that the doctors themselves don't have answers. The internet has been somewhat helpful,b ut doesn't help with the feeling of just not feeling myself most of the time. The main p...
