Hi there, Newly dx, but have had to use walk aids. It may seem odd, but I started wearing Reebok "EasyTone" shoes. They forced me to lift my feet higher to walk--and I had to think about it and be more conscious of my walk. They helped. Also, if I started to trip--they would scuff or squee...
