Re: CCSVI and CCVBP
Dr Flanagan, First, Happy New Year! I saw a doctor about my 3D pictures, and he said that the bottom of the skull and C1 dens are touching. The joints of C1/C2 are on a different level, the left side is lower. The bottom of the skull is also asymmetric. Head tilts to left (I knew that!!). The left C...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP
Dr Flanagan, The conversations here have inspired me to have my neck from atlas to C-5 scanned by 3D CT-technology. The radiologist wrote the following: The vertebrae in alignment. No traumatic or destructive bone changes. In anterior atlanto-axial joint there is arthrosis and slight forming of oste...

Re: Is there an overlap between CPN protocol and lyme diseas
Because Lyme tests are not 100% reliable anyway, a clinical assessment has to be made by a Lyme specialized doctor, with or without the blood tests. My first diagnosis was actually without blood tests, based on symptoms only. Maybe there is a Lyme patients' group in Spain, where you could be given a...

Re: Is there an overlap between CPN protocol and lyme diseas
The cost of that proposed treatment is a rip-off. Maybe you could find another doctor, for antibiotics only. But luckily you live in Europe and could benefit from the EU directives on cross-border healthcare (2011/24/EU), or regulation 883/2004 and 987/2009 on social security systems. I was reimburs...

Re: Is there an overlap between CPN protocol and lyme diseas
In Lyme disease LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) is sometimes used to boost the immune system. It is also used for MS, so more similar treatments. And Lyme never comes alone, there will be a plethora of other bacteria, viruses, fungi, heavy metals, allergies etc. I refer often to Dr Horowitz' book "Wh...

Re: Is there an overlap between CPN protocol and lyme diseas
Hi, In 2012, I had Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies (ELISA), Immunoblot test and Elispot LTT tests done, of which all three were positive. At the same time I was also found to carry mycoplasma pneumoniae and ehrlichia. Interestingly chlamydia pneumoniae antibodies were negative, but turned to positiv...

Re: Can ABX make you worse? Lyme or MS?
I was first diagnosed with MS, and this year I sent blood samples to BCA in Augsburg, Germany, where I was tested for Lyme (4 different tests), ehrlichiosis, babesia, Cpn (2 tests), mycoplasma and anaplasma based on my symptoms. I had Lyme, ehrilchiosis and mycoplasma pneumonia. It was an immense re...

Re: CPn and MS
The missing link just might be a bacterial infection. With my diagnosis, several viral infections were checked at the same time, all came out negative. On the bacterial side only Lyme was checked and it came out negative. Later in another test I was tested positive for Lyme. Never been tested for CP...
