Re: Questionable Lower Back Pain
Hi there, I had a similar issue when I began drinking milk. I began drinking milk shakes every morning and eating cereal every night. This I believe caused an inflammation on my lower back because, like yourself, I began waking up with major lower back pain. I went to a sports medicine clinic and th...

Re: Violent Stretching Upon Awakening
Within the last couple of months I have also been having trouble waking up with a stiff body, and after stretching I have come to endure a violent shaking. I know its a significant change to my body. I began having this symptom after adding more milk to my diet and consuming more coffee. Shakes made...

Balance test
I read about a balance test to determine if you have one of the symptoms of ms, it consisted of standing up straight with your feet together and closing your eyes. When I did this, sure enough I was swerving as though I was a tall skyscraper in an earthquake. It was very interesting because I have n...

diagnsed with ms after 7 years
I was diagnosed with ms after being out of the service for 10 years. I had the symptoms after 5 years of completing my term but didn't start going to see a doctor after the 8th year. I know that you can claim disability if your diagnosed up until the 7th year. Does anyone know if there's an appeals ...

Re: Terrible leg pain. (spasms?)..nothing kills it
Hey newbie, I had the same symptoms when I was first diagnosed. My legs felt so heavy that I was having trouble jogging a mile. I deteriorated quickly until I got my diagnosis. You need a true diagnosis to proceed. This site has been an incredible help in building me back up.

Re: STRESS! Aaargh!
I think you need some time off to get healthy so you can better manage what you are calling a disfunctional family. You do indeed sound really stressed out, but I don't think you are thinking clearly and your just seeing the negatives of the family. You need time to turn yourself around and relieve ...

Re: Copaxone slapped by FDA
This article really caught my eye when it first came out. When I received my diagnosis I didn't know what to do; Copaxone was my first choice because of all the promotional nonsense that they put out. To make it short I couldn't afford the medication anyways. I'm way better off without it on vitamin...

Re: How to go about choosing a new career? Advice needed PLE
I think you need to keep on marching forward with that job because once you let the illness get you you will deteriorate even faster. Try your best, and take it one day at a time. I really don't know of any help but I wish you the best; I believe that most of us are in the same boat.

Re: A request...
Interesting, I think that what your doing would be very helpful in the caring community and I support your efforts but I personally wouldn't do it because I'm a private person. However, I would like and I'm sure many of us would want to see your finished presentation, if you don't mind. I, personall...

Re: asprin is said to improve symptoms of fatigue
Thanks for the advise. I'll give my doc a heads up to see what he thinks. I don't think there should be a problem since I consider myself for the most part healthy. Thanks again.

I think I'm going to put it to the test. One asprin a day won't kill me.

asprin is said to improve symptoms of fatigue
I was reading several articles on how asprin is said to help prevent cancer by a significant percentage. It described how asprin helps decrease inflammation by preventing inflammation in the first place and producing other anti-inflammatory chemicals in our body. Thereafter, I decided to google &quo...

Re: PLEASEHELP,Do I have MS?
You have all the symptoms I had in the beginning right before I went to the neuro specialist, but ofcourse you have to go through your neuro to get it confirmed. I would advice you, like the others, to start your diet. At the beginning I began having migranes and my head was numb like I was wearing ...

Re: What you eat and drink may affect your MS
That's really the problem, why would anyone conduct a thorough study if there are no gains from the benefits of eating healthy. The medical community will squash any study that harms their mula. We are fortunate to have sites like this that inform the ms community. The ms'ers that are not that savvy...

Re: Do I have MS??? Please help :(
You have some of the symptoms I have, but for the most part like "whyrwehere" said: its difficult to find 2 people with the same symptoms. It could be many different illnesses, its difficult but you have to go through the whole diagnosis to really find out. It doesn't hurt to start in one ...
