Transitory sensory symptoms

Does anyone else have transitory sensory symptoms? What I mean is tingling, numbness or pins/needles that is passing in nature. Sometimes I will get a wave of feelings on my right side that will come and go within 30 seconds. This might happen a couple of times during the day over a couple of days t...

Re: jack osbourne

I wasn't trying to say they should trivialize the disease...I just wish they would be more informative about the disease and bring it more to the front instead of announcing it as a gloom and doom disease. I have only been diagnosed for 2 years, and I am lucky that so far it affects me minimally. On...

Feet

I know that many get tingling and numbness in their feet, but does anyone notice it more when wearing shoes? I was diagnosed in 2010 and have had a rather easy time of it, not many symptoms. I have some tingling and numbess in arms, finger and feet. Being summer I like to wear my adidas slides...it'...

Re: jack osbourne

I didn't seem him on the show, but I'm not liking how his family seems to portray the illness. Of course the tabloids take things out of context. There was one headline that said Sharon wasn't going to let her son die. MS isn't a death sentence...every case is so different and the range of symptoms ...

Frustrated

Feeling a little frustrated, but I'm sure many would rather change places with me, so I guess I shouldn't complain much. I was diagnosed in October of 2010, 3 months after my first clinical episode (I'm 48 now, not that it matters lol). It was a pretty severe episode which lasted about 4 months. I w...

Rebif/LMX4 Lidocaine topical anesthetic

I must admit, I'm one of the lucky ones so far. I was diagnosed rather quickly after only 1 clinical episode...of course I've been through multiple MRI's and a spinal tap which were all consistent with someone with MS. Anyhow I delayed starting therapy until after my 2nd MRI. I ended up going on Reb...

Re: Newbie here...my story

It's good to learn that so many have different experiences with the disease. My Uncle had MS and ended up dying from bone cancer. He lived with it for about 45 years finally ending up in a wheel chair for the last 5 years or so. When I was working I had a client that was diagnosed with MS and within...

Newbie here...my story

Since being diagnosed I've been looking for a site to share stories and compare notes. I'm fairly new to the MS diagnosis, and it did come as a complete surprise. Sometimes I'm hesitant to believe I have MS. I had only been to the doctor for well visits (except for a brief problem with my knee a few...
