Being able to say remember when I had MS? Is something to look forward to and would be a wonderful thing! I am thankful that they have made the progress they have in the recent years. When I read things and see the life expectancy or disability expectancy from even 50 yrs ago I am thankful for the c...

Jill, I agree they do need to cap the cost of scripts...I guess in some ways they might say they have since you can not get your scripts just anywhere, they have to have a contract with the pharmacy. I am waiting to see what January has in store for me, dh's work changed insurance yet again and the ...

I have been on Copaxone since Sept. of 2000. I did not try anything else first, I went with what seemed to have the fewest mildest sideeffects and would work with my family life and young children. I am still using it. I have to admit I hate arm days, especially right arm days and as time has gone o...

At first I paid 50.00 a month, then insurace changed for the better. Not only did the copay drop to zero, more importantly IMO it is delivered to my door! No more waiting in line w/ 2 kids, calling days in advance so they could special order it in and all that. BUT now my insurance is changing again...

I am the same way...sometimes I bruse sometimes not, sometimes knot forms, or it iches, or has a red mark. I also agree that the autoinject does not make these things happen more or less. I try and watch where I am sticking so I am not aiming right at a visable vessel.

Great question! I am 39 and look back at the jobs I had prior to my Dx, most would be much harder for me now, but that is not so for many people. I also look back at all the careers I considered and many many of them would be impossible for me now. When I was dx'ed I was getting my feet wet at a job...

I have found that I just seem to take longer to get over cold, etc. and feel like they hit me harder than before if it happens when I am already dealing with a attack. I try and take better care of myself to avoid getting sick in the first place, if I am or have been on steroids recently then I know...

Welcome Kim! I am new here myself. I have looked back at things from my teen years that were probably small MS attacks that were written off as something else. I am not sure how I would have taken the diagnosis at your son's age. I have 2 sons of my own now, 10y and 5.5ys, I can not imagine how I wo...

PG and MS more than vacc... in reply to Alicia :)

Post PG is a time for MS to show itself, I can look back after my first PG and see little things that were written off as other things. My first major and life changing attack started and gradually got worse after the birth of my second child. I have my own theories on this... After my first child I...

I tend to tell..

I am not good at secrets and I feel better having people know than wonder what is wrong w/ me if I stumble or slur my words or am having a bad time and need to use my walker or scooter. My boys are with me pretty much 24-7 and I also do not want them to feel uncomfortable about my MS. If I act like ...

I love mysteries. Janet Evanovich is my favorite, she mixes in humor with light mystery. I do a lot of LOLing when I am reading her books, they are also a quick read.
