Re: Aubagio... any experience?
Aubagio became an ineffective treatment for me. My mri scan and 2 additional relapses ended this treatment. The aubagio was flushed out with horrible tasting stuff in a package that was mixed with H2O. Fast forward, those two last relapses have knocked the wind out of my sails and have ended my work...

Re: This is it!!! Beginning of the End!!!
Great information Celeste I will read this entire post, you have touched on something that is relevant to me. I do believe that you were NOT comparing heroin and the flu shot per say. I believe your meaning was that not necessarily what was in the vial itself. But how the brain perceives the pin pri...

Re: Optic Neuritis
Hi mkbmomma I do agree with you about different drs having different opinions. I have chosen not to cover my right eye for the reason the two gave me. I was on avonnex for some time, got some bad side effects then went of all dmds for 8 months. I thought I was going to cure myself through diet, exer...

Re: Optic Neuritis
Hi mkbmomma, I am much like you with my ON. I have seen my ophthalmologist 2 times since sept 20th. I saw my neuro yesterday, they are both in agreement that I do not cover my right eye. It was explained to me that both eyes need to look straight ahead. If you cover the blind eye it MAY lose its spo...

Re: Optic Neuritis
Hi jackd Thank you for the information. I only had the 3 day course of intravenous, but no oral steroids afterwards. I am just waiting to regain the sight in my right eye. They tell me the wait time is different for everyone, but no guaranties either. His words were.... "I am not telling you th...

Re: Optic Neuritis
Hi youarethecure I had steroids for 3 days. The pain in the eye is gone (thank goodness). I still get a wicked headache, I can see better when I cover the right eye, I am more fatigued than I normal, and my walking is better when I close the right eye. I went to the eye specialist, had some testing ...

Any ideas that could help would be great. I also had a weird taste in my mouth... it tasted like metal, th...

Re: Aubagio... any experience?
Hello I have been so busy. I have had a rotten cold for 2 1/2 weeks. BP will not lower so now taking meds for that. GP visit revealed new mri. It shows 4 new plaques in the left frontal lobe. I am so disappointed....truly thought things were looking up, I guess I was hoping. There explained that it ...

Re: Aubagio... any experience?
I am now almost at the 6 week mark. I have had a few glitches a few days ago. BP went high, 150/86. That was not good. I am feeling better now. I have lost 5lbs in 6wks, I am sure it is due to gi issues. All my blood tests results are in.... and I got a copy of my test results before I started the m...

Re: Long term results
Hi Everyone I am just wondering about all those who have posted here. What is your ms type? I personally know of 4 ppms that have had ccsvi and only 1 of the 4 had a decent result. The 1 with decent recovery only lasted about 2 months and has gone back to her wheelchair. I belive that they were pref...
