Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
I didn't know that about the GI with Mag.. and thats funny that you mention it because I had to triple down on my iron... which was No bueno for my bathroom habits ha ha! And then I noticed after taking the mag a few times that it just didn't seem to be a problem. But I didnt click it until you said...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
The magnesium is Magnesium Oxide ( 400mg) My iron levels were at 10 I believe.. Maybe 11.. I can't remember. I'll have to go back and look. So my doctor was mostly concerned about this. But most of my symptoms didn't go away until I started the B's. I still have some symptoms but they are very mild ...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
The supplements do worry me. I feel fine right now.. in fact great. But I am hesitant to tell my doctor that because I'm afraid they will treat it as a bandaid and send me on my way. I know she is expecting my tinglings and numbness and everything to be explained by lack of nutrients. I am holding s...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
Hey.. just a little update. I am now on Iron and Vitamin C three times daily. It did not help with the tingles, I have still gotten them sporadically and just lasting a few seconds here and there in one spot and then another. I was getting very tired and dizzy in the afternoon. So much that I needed...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
Ok, so do any of you know of any connection to gluten sensitivity or any other sensitivities (food related) or vitamin deficiencies that can cause sleep apnea? I'm not talking obstructive kind. As I don't believe I have that. Like I mentioned before, my sleep doctor retired before I got a final diag...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
I had requested earlier for some more info on testing for other nutrients. Now I know that she did test for vitamin b12 because she said "by neurology standards ( over 500) mine would be considered low". Unfortunatly she didn't give me the score. I really think she wants to wait and see wh...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
lyndacarol, You have given me so much insight! Thank you! Asian restaurants do use MSG. In fact, my husband is asian and I have spent a great deal of time over the last six years with his family overseas as well as here. My mother in law would come to visit and bring a jar of msg seasoning for when ...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
Thank you so much for your responses so far! I greatly appreciate it. I have been doing some reading on this forum all day. Looking at links on blood tests and vitamin deficiencies. I emailed my doctor earlier today requesting that we do a more thorough blood work up of more nutrients. They did the ...

Re: Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
I forgot to mention something else.. Sorry, I have a million distractions right now so I feel like my post is a little scatter brained. (could that be something to add too? ha ha! Probably not, since the cause of my distractions is 2 and 4 years old. ;) ) I have some sort of sensory issue that I hav...

Symptoms questions... Docs are "waiting to see"
Ok.. First off.. I have a very strong family presence of MS. One family member has already passed from old age but lived with MS all her life. I have 3 others on my mothers side and one on my fathers side. About 6 months ago I noticed that both of my big toes are numb. Its not completely numb throug...
