Re: SPMS How often do you see your doctor

If your doctor is communicating with you in a timely manner, count yourself lucky regardless of the way it is being done! I am sure email and phone are much easier than you having to go to your doctor's practice. "how often do you see your DR and have MRI?" As infrequently as possibly. I am a little...

Re: Passive Exercise Machines Make A LOT of Sense...

I have now been using several passive exercise machines for a few months and feel like I have experienced small improvements. I also added a new simple exercise machine for lateral leg movement My left leg has been my main 'problem' area due to muscle weakness for a couple of years, and earlier this...

Re: Help for muscle spasms in legs

I also take magnesium and Quinine (found in tonic water).

I also find the exercising/stretching I am getting from the passive exercise equipment I recently starting using is very, very helpful.

Re: balance and gait improvement

Like so many therapies, it seems to work for some but not all and certainly not an overwhelming majority. "Montel Williams has been using the device for a looooong time. Also, he is a workout addict." Not only is he a workout addict, he does many other things as well for his health. He is very proac...

Re: balance and gait improvement

There are not many locations across the US to use those devices. I wonder if this treatment is covered by insurance... I would suggest trying this as an alternative for balance improvement. It is simple to do at home, safe and effective for many. And FREE as there is no equipment needed. Epley maneu...

Re: Just approved for Ocrevus

I just had my 2nd 1/2 infusion yesterday.

Both infusions went smoothly, no issues, thankfully.

To early to tell for sure but I seem to be experiencing some improvement related to walking. Time will tell...

Good luck!

That graph/chart looks surprising similar to one you posted recently in an Ocrevus thread (for Ocrevus, obviously):

Re: Any advice?

" I can't walk more than 5 - 10 minutes without my legs seizing up on me." Now is the time to really concentrate on this issue before it gets worse. I have some mobility issues and recently started using passive motorized exercise machines and am seeing some improvement. Here is a link to a thread ...

Re: Any advice?

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Any advice? Yes, find another doctor! And since you suspect MS, see a MS specialist. "He ruled out MS solely based on the appearance of the lesions on the MRI. He said that they do not look like MS lesions." My first neurologist (not a MS specialist) could not...

Re: Vaping linked to lung failure

There are so many theories on this. One is that vitamin E is added to some of these products which has been shown to cause health issues when vaporized. At this point, they don't really know anything for certain. I very occasionally have vaped THC/CBD and the dispensary I get it from assures me thei...

Do you know the cost of this one? It looks amazing! Maybe NASA needs to take a look at the design for future MARS missions... LOL!

Re: It's funny

"he must not even consider ms as a factor in his life" It is a major factor in his day to day life but like others he has found ways to deal with it BUT he is definitely one of the luckier ones. "Hopefully your ms will take the same course" My case is much more aggressive, unfortunately but I find ...
