results of my lumbar puncture.
The hospital where I took my LP posted my results on my online profile. I don't see any mention of a test for O-bands. I did see a WBC count twice the normal range, the lymp count about 13% higher and the mono count about only about 7%. Is this test or are these results something anybody know about ...

Re: Does this sound familiar?
Thanks for answering, rhs. I've been searching across multiple forums to see if anyone has ever experienced this phenomenon. I suspect it has something to do with the bladder. It has subsided in the last few days after a few days of my Neurontin rx.

Does this sound familiar?
I wake up from a weird dream to find my face tingling, feeling a strong burning sensation in my extremities and the need to pee. After a few seconds or minutes, all symptoms disappear. Sound familiar?

Re: Annoyed
Ignore that last question. I read active lesions can be missed if they are too small or haven't done enough damage.

Re: Annoyed
If I am reading these results I got online correctly, they did a CRP, ANA, CBC, ESR, Folate, TSH High Sensitivity, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel and Vitamin B1 Lc/Ms/Ms. My MCV is 89 and the range is 78-100 fL. The only results that were high were my Glucose at 125 with normal being 65-99 fasting an...

Re: Annoyed
I assumed she ordered the typical blood tests to rule out other conditions. As for the sleep study, I was told they found nothing significant. I wanted to know if I should believe what she said about the MRI with contrast. My symptoms are typical - paresthsia, spasticity, fatigue and heat sensitivit...

Annoyed
My blood tests are fine, my sleep study results were fine and my nerve conduction test was good. All I have are symptoms, prominent ventricles for age and white matter volume loss unusual for age. My doctor ordered a lumbar puncture next because my insurance denied the MRI with contrast. My neurolog...

Hi! My name is Daniel.
I'm a 37 yo Hispanic male with a confirmed history of transverse myelitis (dx by MRI with contrast in 2004 with lesion at c5-c7 level). I took a MRI without contrast on July 11th 2014. I don't have the report in from of me, so I'll have to paraphrase from memory. I think I saw a T1 and Flair somewhe...
