Eliot, Thank you for your response. You raise an interesting question: Does relapse activity correlate to disease progression? My neurologists take on this seems to be yes, it does. In other words, he believes that the more relapses you suffer, the more damage you incur. I take that to mean the DMDs...

Eliot, My experience with the meds indicates that DMDs DO work. Cause = Effect. When I was on meds my relapses were controlled. When I was off meds, they came and went as they pleased. The other variables you cite that might come into play, such as diet and exercise, did not vary from one period of ...
