Re: No more positive effect from biotin after a long period
After 18 months under Qizenday, I realized I had no more positive effect from high dose biotin... My neurologist told me it was useless to keep taking this med. She said positive effects won't come back cause my body got used to it. Anybody else is facing this issue? This point was made to me as we...

Re: Over-the-counter antihistamine, Tavist, being tested
"So..we now have results of this test out...any opinions?" Can you share a link to those results please? Try this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29029896 I wonder: So 50 patients tried a massive dose (2 x of what's usually prescribed) for 3 months and complained that they were fatig...

Re: Medday's PHASE3 TRAIL AND BELIEF IN BIOTINS POTENTI
You can't judge anything by price... It falls onto my (least) favorite adage, You get what you pay for. If I sell you garbage at 10x quality price, you're still getting garbage. IIRC medday wasn't advertising or TM'ing a new biotin, just a unique dose for a unique problem. Until something comes out...

Re: How are you doing on biotin?
SPMS: the first ten years or so I was RRMS. Since 2009 just a gradual decline..well no longer I guess.
As I've written, don't really care if it goes downhill again from here. At least that stuff gave me one last fun Summer.
Take care.

Re: How are you doing on biotin?
Hi, While the topic is up again here, I'll give my $0.02 after about 13 mths on 2*150mg daily compounded capsules: Slightly increased Leg stiffness, still noticeable throughout the day but maneageable - reduces with Mg & Stretching. The Bladder & Energy improvements are so uplifting that I c...

Re: Why foot drop is not broken foot nerves
CCSVI is not a solution; it's a problem. It has very little to do with fingolimod, except that they both have to do with MS. I obviously meant to write "...treatment for CCSVI" not being a solution for everything. And I still don't understand your interest in some immunomodulating drug li...

Re: Why foot drop is not broken foot nerves
Why is CCSVI the Solution for everything and what does it have to do with Fingolomod? Isn't it fairly clear by now that MS - like many other chronic diseases - has multiple triggering factors and that each diagnosis will be some individual combination of treatments. (Not the immune system suppressin...

Re: Why foot drop is not broken foot nerves
Hi 1eye, Your question is interesting but I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to get at. FES helps with footdrop related to spinal cord injuries. I'm a happy FES user and my mobility has remained stable for several years. I can also see the T2 Spinal Lesions causing my walking problems bright a...
