First off, I probably shouldn't even be posting here because I don't think MS is on the radar at this time. Also, this is not a bash on my neuro. Yes, he is stumped but he told me so AND was not dismissive but pushing forward to find answers. I respect that. So... I have too many MS symptoms to list...

I've posted a couple of times. Long story short, I had my c spine MRI. My doctor is, well, slooow! I decided to pick up my report. Apparently, I have a bulging disc, some "uncovering", spinal stenosis and an enlarged thyroid. So, it appears that I do not have MS but a slew of other issues....

Hours and hours would be rough! Mine was pretty short....in fact I question the thoroughness a little. Thanks for the reply. Next is a spinal MRI so I will just be waiting lol.

So I went for my EMG. It wasn't comfortable but not bad. Afterwards, he said it was normal and didn't detect and nerve damage ( I guess that was redundant lol) but anyway.... What does that mean other than the obvious?

I have my nerve study in the morning. What should I expect? Any questions I should ask? Also, do most doctors balk if you ask for a copy of those lovely notes they type on their computer?

Oh and the "don't fall" comment. I never mentioned falling or balance issues. Hmm

Thanks! I actually didn't feel dismissed even though my appointment was brief. I feel like he is getting the ball rolling. Of course I don't want MS but at this point, I just want to know what's going on. Then, I can deal with it. I'm actually not disturbed about any of it but relieved to be heading...
