Re: Benfotiamine
Yeh I was just looking at it again, and saw that. I don't know why the heck I thought it was benfotiamine. Sulbutiamine has similar structure to thiamine disulfide so presumably that would inhibit thiamine transport. I am looking for an explanation why I got so sick taking sulbutiamine. Other people...

Re: Benfotiamine
There is a study called Inhibition of Thiamine Transport in Saccharomyces cerevisiae by Thiamine Disulfides showing benfotiamine inhibits thiamine uptake massively. So does sublutiamine, and TTFD. All three will induce a thiamine deficiency in someone. They are very very dangerous, and should never ...

Whatever. I probably won't come back here much. Just thought I'd post the info in case someone else wanted to see it. Goodbye.

Re: Threonine, and succinic acid as treatments
Mutations in that enzyme cause a quantifiable disease. One of the things in blood that will be elevated is urea, and the patients have to be on a low protein/nitrogen diet or they can potentially die. So what in the heck does that have to do with MS? You are clearly a pharma shill or a pharmacist or...

Re: Threonine, and succinic acid as treatments
It may be laughable however it is not as laughable as the other persons argument against succinic/fumaric acid.

Re: Threonine, and succinic acid as treatments
I'm not sure I would leap so fast into succinic acid? Because it, and fumaric acid would hurt the profits of the pharma company you work for that sells methyl fumarate or some other competing, less effective treatment for disease? We make 200g a day of succinic acid... it is safe as a supplement. I ...

Re: Threonine, and succinic acid as treatments
Methyl fumarate sucks because of the methanol addition. If someone with MS actually wanted to get better they could try succinic acid, fumaric acid, and threonine.

Threonine, and succinic acid as treatments
Hey all. Succinic acid an organic acid in the krebs cycle which is in most cells in our body is a good treatment for MS, and 99% of all other diseases in world. When talking about any disease one of the main things to treat it is increase ATP production in the mitochondria. The bulk of our ATP is ma...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
Another treatment for MS is the amino acid threonine Spot the double (or triple or quadruple) speak. To determine whether the naturally occurring amino acid threonine, a potential precursor for glycine biosynthesis in the spinal cord, has an effect on spasticity in multiple sclerosis, 26 ambulatory ...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
Naturally occurring molecules actually treat disease. Tetrodotoxin is a "naturally occurring molecule." It only treats disease if you consider chronic heartbeat problematic. Indeed, there are plenty of nasty "naturally occurring molecules" that will do one in. Anatoxin-A will dr...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
The study was linked. And once in the organism the ester bonds breaking leaving methanol + fumarate. Yes methanol is toxic. Good observation. Pharma companies don't want someone taking fumaric acid because it is cheap, and effective. They wan't someone staying on their expensive, less effective, sid...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
Fumaric acid activates nrf2 itself. Methanol just depletes glutathione making the person sicker. If methanol was so good then alcoholics who drink methylated spirits would be in awesome health but instead they get sicker, and sometimes die after metho binges. It happened to one of my mums old tennan...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
Oh lol. It is actually number 11 not 6. I am using it now. It is really good I would recommend it. It will save someone a lot of time rather than having to search through the literature. They can do a literature search after looking at something in the program if they want to find out more specific ...

Re: Do fumarates change into fumaric acid in vivo?
I bought this health encylopedia for 95 USD http://hyperhealthencyclopedia.com/order_info.htm The download link is broken so email them if wanting to buy it It is really good. It has amino acids, organic acids, minerals, vitamins, food, prescription drugs, and more in there. Here is the page on fuma...
