You certainly know your stuff! I thought I was fairly clued up when it came to MS and the research that I'd been doing but I've been proved wrong. I do enjoy learning about this illness and not only because it's the interest directly to me that it also means that I can explain ms more clearly to peo...

However if that a person has a predisposition for MS due to any number of reasons such as genetic, environmental; list goes on, a significant amount stress will have a detrimental affect and can l...

Lakeland plastics do a good jar opener too and it's not too expensive.

If I'm on my own and can't do the whole sad puppy look I just buy smaller jars if I need to open it or those snazzy plastic ones with which all one has to do is rip off the top!

Hope this is of interest!

I will start taking it again! BUT I wouldn't say that I went downhill when I stopped taking the Ginko. It was all the other enviromental factors that were the accelarator for my sudden and dramatic decline 3years ago. The climb back to normality is proving to be very slow and discouraging at times. ...

Melody those are some interesting points you wrote about. I didn't realise that Fish Oil capsules go rancid and would explain why my new pack of Krill Oil smelt really bad when I opened it. It had been sitting outside my flat for 3days during the hot weather! Putting it in the fridge didn't h...

The Effect of ginkgo biloba on MS

I used to take ginkgo biloba suplements and found they had an impact on my concentration and overall mood. I found that I could concentrate on something for a significantly longer period of time and didn't get bored so easily. I need to start taking them again! On the flip side, my health had deteri...

Sun

I have been reading George Jelinek's book; Taking Control of Multiple Sclerosis, in which he strongly promoted sun light as being an excellent, reasonably safe form of additional treatment. These suggestions, I feel, are backed by this post and other literature I have read.

Glyconutrients

Kennyfrank, Thank you for all that info that you wrote. It really moved me and I will seriously consider these nutrients. I hope your good health continues. I will also tell my Dad - he's been on Statins for 2 years following a heart attack. I am just nervous about moving on to these as I have recen...

Anyone with any experience with Glyconutrients?

I have just joined and this is my first post! 8O I have had MS since Christmas 2000 and only recently been really working with it. I suffered a downturn in 2003 and put it down to my crazy life, wasn't until I couldn't push myself anymore I started hearing and seeing all the obvious signs. So I gave...
