I tried all the drugs you mentioned with the same ill effects. I take the compounded drug 4-aminopyridine (4-ap) and it does help with the spasticity. it does not totally relieve it, but I can sure tell the difference when I don't take it. I also had a baclofen pump trial and it really relieved the ...

I also take 10mg twice a day. My cost is about $40/month.I have to pay cash also, because most ins co's will not cover a compounded drug.I have taken it since aug. 2008.
It helped a lot at first, but now minimal effects, but at the same time, if I don't take it, my spasticity is much more severe.

My LP showed greater than 8 o-bands and the rest of the levels were normal also. I already had a diagnosis and this just put the icing on the cake. my ms has been very progressive, take care of yourself. Keep good records, and a weekly journal of your symptoms/meds, etc. when I had to apply for ssdi...

Theracycle

I have a new theracycle 100 (the one that does all the work for you). It is a wonderful passive exercise machine. I am no longer physically able to strap my feet in to the foot plates and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could post this for sale.

coincidence or not, but I had the elisa/rast food allergy testing done in sept.07 and to my surprise as well as my md, I tested very positive to gluten and eggs. I have been on a gluten/egg free diet for 1 year. If there is any chance that diet is the culprit, then I will try to fix it. My allergy h...

I have taken the zanaflex (i believe the 10mg), it relaxes my muscles too much and I can not function. I tried taking half and still too much, tried it at night only, with no difference. I went back to baclofen but now even that is too much. I now need the stiffness in order to be able to use my leg...

exercise machines

Hello everyone, I have not posted in quite a while but I need your input. I am going to purchase a passive exercise machine which I hope will help with spasticity, edema in lower legs, etc. Has anyone ever used a Thera-cycle or do you have other equipment you can recommend..Thanks for any information.

Chris55, What kind of supplements (you daughter is using) are you referring to. How long has she used them and with what results? I too have stopped with all treatments and have just started a nutritional supplement regime. I am very interested in any good news. Thanks

In my case, I began to have difficulty swallowing and did notice an enlargement in my throat area. I ask them for years to check my thyroid level for weight gain problems and each time my blood serum levels would be fine. When we checked at this time, again the blood test were normal and it was only...

dysphagia

Jimmylegs, If your problem persist, have it checked by MD. My swallowing problem turned out to be thyroid related (benign cyst/nodule). I have had no luck with any treatment so far and I am interested in what you have done R/T diet and vitamins. I looked back at earlier post, but unable to find answ...
