Thanks for your suggestions! Appreciate them. I can still stand when supported, just not walk. So, since sitting is a neccessity... we'll see how I do. Hope to prevent worsening. Looking at pillows too.

Well, what can be done to reduce the pressure from sitting on your bum all day... when "moving around" is not an option??

Went to see neuro. He explained that he thought Tysabri hasn't worked for me because my MS isn't really inflammation, but rather scarring. What?? Then he went on to say that Rituxan hasn't been approved for PP, but only Novantrone has. So now he wants to try that. I don't know if the risks are worth...

I have taken Tysabri 7 times now with no improvement. Going to see neuro today to discuss other options... if there are any. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to accept my future .

I'm considering buying a Theracycle for exercise. Any input on that? Very expensive, but people tell me it's worth it! Is there a place for this question in these forums?

Doesn't it just "alter" the immune response and not actually suppress it? It seems to be more of an immunomodulator... Just want to be sure that a combo treatment with LDN isn't detrimental to me.

hmmm... made some calls and both my neuro and infusion nurse state that Tysabri is not classified as an immunosuppressant. What gives?

I thought Tysabri is a monoclonal antibody that decreases inflammatory cells in the brain? It is not an immunosuppressant, but I could be wrong...

Has anybody tried taking both meds at the same time? What are your results?
