CCSVI and change of seasons

Would change of seasons affect someone with CCSVI? Everytime the seasons change, I feel horrible. I have been so dizzy and nausious the past 4 days, it's very miserable. I thought I had a flu or cold at first, but no fever or or other symptoms. Besides this is how my relapses often start. There is s...

That's great news!! I hope she continues to do well. :)

I hope you aren't delaying wedding plans because of Mel's MS. I delayed mine and regret it.

I just want to say that the doctors I saw today are much better behaved at questioning than some folks online here....they understand the nuance of "tone". It is possible to question people without being nasty or deriding them...and yes, debate is very important, but so is respect. I was impressed ...

And guitarguy - there IS a separate forum. This one. If you aren't interested don't click on it. For example, I have no real interest in statins. I don't go in there berating everyone. I'm not saying you do, btw. um I wasn't referring to you, no need to attack me. I am on your side. I think you nee...

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice if the CCSVI people had a private forum? Nothing wrong with healthy debate but some people just want to be argumentive and belittle people.

I would like to know as well. I was on it a few times and it did nothing for me. Trying to figure out why they put me on it.

I have been on Copaxone for 15 years. dx 18 years ago. EDSS is 1.0

I think it's been a fantastic mediation for me. I never really had any side effects except 2 times a year I will get bad chills/shakes that last about an hour or two.

Besides stem cell have not even been proven to help people with MS, much less this.

For some reason I never really fit the profile for typical MS. But then I am always told, nothing is typical when it comes to MS and we are all different. For me, I seem to do better in heat and I mean extreme heat. 100 plus temps do not phase me a bit. When it cools off or the seasons start to chan...

That makes perfect sense to me. I moved from Colorado to Texas, I was so afraid of moving to texas because I was warned the heat would make my MS worse. Well since I have been here I am doing 100 times better. When it cools off here, I start to feel dizzy and I stiffen up. In Colorado each attack ha...

Optic neuritis but no vision loss?

Is it possible to have an attack of Optic neuritis with no vision loss? I had ON 2 times in the past. Years ago. recovered vision both times. But recently I have been getting severe headaches at night and my eyes hurt so bad! Tylnol does not help. I did have a severe bout with dry eyes that was trea...

Edema like that could be a sign of Congestive heart failure. Which concerns me about this procedure. Hi GG, Precisely how would a stent cause congestive heart failure? Please explain what your concern is so we can discuss that idea since you put it on this thread. Was holly's stroke a complication ...

Catfreak you have me freaked out. Why do you want to wait until morning? Not too mention Holly (completely different I know), but think of the people that never wake up because they waited!!!! Please Please Please go! I know, 10 pounds in such a short amount of time is alarming. Edema like that cou...

That's just borderline. my highest was 110. 8O no idea why, not overweight and very active. But I have a bad family history on both sides with hypertension and heart disease. So I have a bad gene apparently.
