Hi Algis, My stomach has also had problems with the doxy. At first I was taking it with no food, which made me extremely nauseous. Now I take it with a meal and plenty of water. I took prilosec OTC in the mornings for a while to help me tolerate it. That helped quite a bit. Now I can take it without...

time release doxy for less stomach irritation?
I have started Doxycycline 100mg 2x per day (generic). And since starting it I have developed a chronic acid reflux cough due to stomach/esophagus irritation. This is a problem I have never had before. I also feel very nauseous for about an hour after i take it. I know Doxy is also sold in a once a ...

question about type of NAC
Hello,
I've gone to two stores and can find N-acetyl L cysteine, but not N-acetyl cysteine.
Are they the same thing? I can find the version without the "L" online if that is preferable.
Thanks.

I apologize in advance for asking so many question. I am reading a ton here and on CPn help but there is a lot to learn. I have a prescription for Minocycline. Should I start the NAC first, and wait to take the antibiotic or start both at once. I would think taking both at once would confuse things ...

Has anyone experienced tooth or skin staining on Minocycline
I have heard this is a side effect that can be irreversible. Obviously it is much less serious than MS, but I am wondering if anyone has experienced it and after how long?

does doxy alone help the way minocycline alone helps?
Hello, I was wondering if taking daily doxycycline, helps in the way that taking Minocycline helps (before starting the full protocol). I know Mino carries risk of tooth and skin staining, and to me it's worth the risk unless Doxy will work just as well without that side effect. And if does work, is...

hello! minocycline question
Hi, I haven't posted in a while, but I am still very interested in antibiotics & MS, as well as natural approaches. I am hoping in the future to see a doctor who will give me Rx for antibiotic regimen, but I know that will involve some planning, work & possibly travel. I am considering start...
