Im new to avonex too had my 2nd injection last monday and all i have got is the cold shivers during the night but took nurofen ( think thats ibuforen in usa) but that seems to work for me.
Its good that we are only starting we can share our experiences

I started my avonex injection on monday night and as i was expecting got the shivers and sweats during the night. Today i feel awful, woke up and felt so weak and tired with pains in my legs. Just wondering is this normal when you start avonex??

Hi Had my visit with my neurologist yesterday, i have to have steroid treatment for 3 days to try recover my sight they are not sure if it will come back totally.
