jjmagpin, No foot drop, however my whole right leg/torso was numb for about a year. I just adapted my skating to be a bit more left heavy and also stopped crossovers (THAT was hard, but worth it... falling down every time was a wee bit embarrassing when I was practically born with skates on my feet!...

so my nose is still runny, and not like a normal 'snot' runny, its like water.

I have never experienced this before, is this a new side effect from the Ty?
I've always read that it could be one.

Quick update from me as well:

1 week after having the adjuvanted shot, I feel perfectly fine.

No adverse effects (minus a sore arm... but c'est la vie)

Here in Canada only 'high risk' groups are getting vaccinated for the time being as there is a shortage of the shot by the drug maker.

due to my job i come into contact with thousands of people a week, especially over the next month, so I decided I'd rather take a chance with the adjuvant version of the shot rather than wait till who knows when for the non-adjuvant. So far, I feel fine! Got the shot about 3 pm today and all is well...

but I'm at #7!
Had my infusion this afternoon and other than the 'zzzzz's' i'm feeling fine.

yah... crushing was a HORRIBLE IDEA!!!! I ended up gagging and having that horrid taste in my mouth even longer. Ugh.... Starting to taper off of the huge dose now... much smaller... more manageable. And? My face isn't numb anymore. Hoorah! One thing i did find that helped with the aftertaste? Nutel...

Can you crush prednisone pills?

I just took the first dose and UGH! 11 pills, not cool.
and yah, the stomach one is gross.

So my neuro prescribed 500 mg/day (10 pills of the 25mg tabs twice a day) for the next 4 days of prednisone, followed by smaller and smaller doses over the next week and a bit. Does that seem like a lot? He also prescribed something for my stomach and some ativan to help sleep. Anyone else experienc...
