Delayed Benefits

You know, I'm not quite sold on CCSVI yet, but, in any case, I should imagine that benefits would not be immediate for PP and SP. Perhaps the bestis yet to come?

MRI alternative

Does anyone know, if a person can't have MRIs (me and it's a long story) how would CCSVI be assessed? Does anyone know of any methods other than catheter investigations in all likely veins? They use MRI for the doppler imaging, right? I suppose that this may become something, if CCSVI theory stands ...

In any event, I wasn't anticipating any improvement, I'm just hoping on svoiding my seasonal Spring relapse. So, I just t5hought that I'd post to say 'nothing to report'.. By the way, I'm ve...

Thanks for that. That makes sense.

So I suppose that the answer as to how CCSVI theory might explain the way that I, exclusively, have relapses only in Spring, is pretty much the same answer as that for the demography/geohraphic distribution and MS thread in this forum?

Thanks again.

A few weeks ago while I was in hospital having a Rituximab infusion I was sharing a room with a fellow with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. He complained of just this same thing. He said that a mouthwash of very cold, strong, black tea helped enormously stop any ulcers and help with any pain. And, searchin...

Re: Would like to hear more about your experience

No side effects to report. The literature talks about a 20% who suffer not-so-serious side effects buit my infusion nurse said that these figures were based on clinical experience with cancer patients and that she would expect the rate to be far lower with MS patients.
