I understand completely where you are coming from. The pace is maddeningly slow... But I have the feeling that this is only going to really get its legs when the trial results add credibility to the theory. I think when we start getting scientifically valid, repeatable results out of this, CCSVI goi...

I think that the release of the results of a blinded clinical trial will bring us ALL closer to treatment. I am so eager to see the results of the trial. If they come out in line with Zamboni's findings, I think that CCSVI will start getting a lot of attention from those who have been ignoring it. P...

This is why the outcome of double-blinded studies are so important ... I know of at least one underway at Buffalo, but not sure when they will release the info. This is for detection of CCSVI, not, to my knowledge, for any method of treatment. If big pharma is involved in some conspiracy to suppress...

Jess, When I moved to STL from out of state, my neuro recommended Dr. Cross. At that time, (and this was *years* ago) she wasn't accepting new patients... I saw another Dr. in her practice, and I didn't care for him. He's probably a great doctor, just personality-wise. Dr. Singer is highly regarded ...

I've been following the forums for quite a while and have been very excited and hopeful about CCSVI, but honestly, I feel that sometimes the reaction here to those who would question CCSVI is not entirely reasonable. It's important in any scientific process that new developments be viewed with at le...

Unblinding?

Hi... sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but I searched a bit and couldn't find a definite answer... The University of Buffalo press release ( http://www.buffalo.edu/news/10562 ) indicates that the first part of their study will be unblinded sometime in November ... any ideas as to when exactly? Wou...

Definitely keep us posted on how things go .. I am in STL, and wishing there were some more opportunities to look into this around our neck of the woods.

CCSVI and Ventriculomegaly?

Hi there... I've been dx'd with MS for 6 years or so now. When I had my first MRI, they noted mild stable ventriculomegaly. This is sort of a congenital issue that hasn't caused me any symptoms. My understanding of ventriculomegaly is that it can be caused by impaired drainage of CSF from the brain ...
