The presentation is really clear and Dr. Dake's images really show the problem. Many before and afters! Did this presentation just happen this morning? I LOVE the internet :D I hope he is able to get started on some trials soon. I can easily ride my bike to Stanford from the high school where I teac...

Looking forward to Stanford clinical trials...
I agree with everyone here! :D Yes, it's early days, and clinical trials can't happen fast enough! My understanding is that Dr. Dake at Stanford stopped the procedure in order to begin clinical trials. The emails I have from his office (form letters - not personal) indicate that those trials will be...

Completely understand..
...I have SO felt the same way! I went to a Copaxone "Shared Solutions" presentation locally a few years back, and a Neuro from Wayne State Uni. in Detroit announced he was beginning a study on every other day injections. I informally joined his research, even if he didn't know I was there...

Thanks so much for the quick reply!
I have Blue Shield HMO Access+ through CalPers. I think it's pretty standard public school teacher issue. I'll be in touch with my GP tomorrow to see what I can get rolling. I really appreciate your welcome and advice.
So glad I found this site!

Hope this isn't too personal, but how are people paying for
...this procedure? ...I'm new here and trying to read everything in one four-day weekend 8O !! ... The thing I don't seem to see in many posts is how folks are paying for this procedure at Dr. Dake's. I guess my real question is, has anyone been successful having his/her HMO insurance cover this? .....

Re: Need info ASAP!!
Hello there! How do we go about getting worked up for CCSVI? I plan on speaking to his neuro tomorrow but assume I will be scoffed at. Hi Kacey, You and I learned about this at the same time. I'm hoping someone will answer your question about how to proceed. In the meantime, I'm reading anything an...
