Do you already do physical training? Keep it up if not good idea to begin some strengthening but do not strain no sweating no exertion just some effort. Both my neurologist and IR indicate my improvements post procedure have been boosted by my physical training.

My condition would be very different without it. However I could not initiate or monitor, that area of my brain is not there. We could talk directl...

I work on understanding the mechanics of each particular movement so that I can identify muscle groups that are weak. For instance the first point of engagement in walking is raising the knee. Hip muscle is needed to lift the knee. If your hip is weak and unable to pick up knee your leg swings as yo...

Exercise seems counter intuitive with MS. Fatigue is such a large issue. My experience is that if do physical training without exertion just some effort over time you build stamina, strength as you identify specific weak muscle groups that need strengthening. No pain no gain -DOES NOT APPLY- WHAT IS...

spastisity

Brain plasticity is the natural process by which the brain rebuilds after damage. Those of us with MS, our brain does not send strong messages to our muscles. I have found that working, exercising specific muscle groups relieves spasticity and helps to return function. It is as if we have to remind ...
