The cat has his tongue, as I was "going to be in a wheelchair in six months" if I went off all drugs completely and pursued the Liberation Treatment. Well, unless I am in an invisible wheelchair, that didn't happen.

It has been nearly four years since I have posted anything in this forum. My neglect can be attributed to, well, living life! I had the Liberation Treatment performed in Albany on August 13, 2010. Since then, I have taken zero- ZERO- meds to manage my MS. I have also had zero relapses. Frankly, I am...

I underwent chemo via oral cladribine for two years prior to treatment. I do not know if I have restenosed- we will find out on June 7.

I will say, though, that chemo changed my body forever. I am far worse for the chemo than I can ever say I benefitted from it.

I posted my question on BCBS before I found this thread. Now I am just pissed.

So if the dx is not MS, are these still treatable conditions? Because I would hope that is the case.

I love that BCBS will pay for a drug that hurts my heart, but not for a procedure to fix my veins.

Just found out that BCBS is no longer covering CCSVI treatments. Wonder why that is the case?

I made a comment nearly a year ago that I still stand by. If CCSVI is the cause of or consequence of MS is irrelevant from a treatment perspective. If there is a condition that requires treatment, treat it. No one had an issue with drugs prescribed for the various effects of this disease, from fatig...

I agree that donations must be significantly lower for the MS Society to issue an apology...that, or the upcoming studies have favorable data and the Society needs to save face.

Either way, never another dime. Never.
