Possible relapse due to exercise??

This past week I started exercising again. By that I mean brisk walking, no weights or anything. I started getting headaches since starting and there is some pain in my ears as well. It feels like an earache but the pain comes and goes. My ears are perfectly clean so I know its not an infection. Cou...

MRI came back clear-- whats going on?

Last year I had symptoms all summer until I got pregnant. The more pregnant I got, the more these symptoms died down. My baby is 6 months old now and these "attacks" have not yet returned. I had an MRI recently which came back clear. My main symptoms were: Numbness on head, neck, arms and ...

Finally had an MRI but WITHOUT contrast

Can an MRI without contrast diagnose MS just as good as one with contrast? I had like a billion symptoms before my pregnancy so there should be some very visible lesions, right? Oh god, I wish I could just cure this thing!

Forgot to add, I'm still waiting for my results!

To all moms: When did you relapse after pregnancy?

It's been 3 months and I still haven't had any attacks. I'm hoping it won't happen. But probably will right?

Can iron pills affect MS?

I have not been diagnosed yet. I had my first MS attack (ithink thats what it was) last year and fell pregnant before i could get an MRI. Well, I'm not pregnant anymore (i gave birth last month) and I was prescribed iron pills after having my baby. I haven't had an attack yet, and I'm dreading it. B...

I was the same. When I had my baby, I was against having an epidural for the same reason. I had numbness all over my body during my first MS attack and I didnt wanna feel that again just like you. AND i was scared my sensation wouldn't come back. I did it without the epidural for awhile but ended up...

Thanks so much for your response. Its really helpful.
Is your bladder problem due to weakness? My bladder empties way slower than it used to because those muscles became weak. It started last summer & never returned to normal. Would this make it difficult to give birth? ( the pushing part?)

Hi Ann,
What are your symptoms like? Did they get in the way of raising your babies? Did you have an epidural for labor/delivery? I remember reading that an epidural can make MS worse or trigger an attack or something like that? I'm not sure if that's true or not..

Hello, new here (Wanted opinions from actual MS sufferers.)

Hi, I'm "mrsjitters" I am 20 years old. I have yet to be diagnosed, but I am certain that I have MS. I also suffer from anxiety disorder which, I guess, makes it hard for doctors to believe me or take me seriously. My problems started last summer when my whole body went numb & I g...
