It is a test for problems with attention. Can be effected not only by inattention secondary to mild cognitive impairment ( whatever that might be from ) but also things like anxiety.

If not, it is a good idea to have a 25(OH)D and a 1,25 (OHD)2 level checked at a reputable lab (Lab Corp or Mayo lab are the best) as soon as possible and aim for a level around 80ng/ml. One more thing. A urinary tract infection ( UTI ) can worsen the Psychosis. Ask if she has had a recent Urine analysis ( UA ) and if not would they consider doing one.
