rebif formulation
I am also wondering about the new higher ph, sharper needle formula. I have heard about it but have not been able to find out when it might be available. I will check with the pharmacy and see. I just got a new months supply and looked all through the patient insert stuff but found no mention of new...
good report
It was good to hear that you got a good report on your mri. I just had one, the first since 6 months of rebif, and it's the fist one I have had in a while that showed no new lesions or activity. I am like you....maybe it's the rebif.????...I guess it has encouraged me to stay on it though I really h...
Dawn, Sorry to hear about your reaction.. I know what you mean about the itching..I have sensitive skin anyway and am allergic to lanolin so I have to avoid most everything. My neuro took me off the rebif for one week, then had me start back at 1/4, then 1/2 doses. I have not had hives again. She di...

Karen, I was diagnosed two years ago and while I was glad to get answers, the answers I got were not what I wanted to hear, so I pretty much ignored it at first. I came to grips with the reality of it when I started on the meds. I take rebif. That was my rude awakening. Do you have a good neurololgi...

mri
Just had my first mri since starting rebif 6 months ago, and had 0 new lesions. Last two had showed more each time. While I can't be sure if the rebif is why, I am encouraged that maybe it is helping. I don't know if I would stay on it if it had been otherwise. It is easy to get discouraged with the...
injection sites
Hello I have also gotten contradictory information on injection sites. The nurse who taught me to inject said above the waist was fine. The nurse with MSLifelines ( sponsored by the drug company) who calls periodically said no. I need to find out more. Maybe from some of you who inject there with no...

hi xenova I got an answer today on this problem. To make a long story shorter, I have been diagnosed with shingles. I am starting a round of prednisone and antiviral medicine. Hopefully it was diagnosed in time for the antiviral to lessen the symptoms. I am relieved that it is not a relapse but it i...

Hello Alicia, Thanks for the reply...I was trying to think of how to describe the numbness..Novacaine is how it feels. When your symptoms went away was it a gradual thing? I hope you are doing well now. My initial symptoms were a really bad pain in the neck and 1/2 of my face having numbness. They t...

Relapse? or what?
I was diagnosed RRMS 18 months ago , (am a 51 yr old grammy) and have not had a serious relapse in that time. Mainly numbness, facial pain, etc. I am very fortunate in that regard. (I was diagnosed from an mri that showed the lesions and also from a spinal tap.) However I am now in day two of what m...
Dawnsbrain, I am not sure on why the lower dose, unless she is being cautious until my blood work gets done. I was off for one week and am having my first relapse since before I started rebif...I have really bad neck pain and leg heaviness and tingling. Also, thanks mscaregiver for the injection inf...

rebif---
Has anyone experienced hives or itching related to rebif? I have been on rebif for 6 months and have been having bouts of itching and a rash. I have been using 44mcg but have been told to go off rebif for one week and start back at a half dose. Just wondered if anyone else had had that experience.
