It kicked hard to me too in 1998; and Novantrone (named Mitoxantrone here) kept me away from the wheelchair while I could take it - It has a limit number of treatments - after which your heart is in danger. It really pushed my redline for a while and I am glad I chose to try it. FWIW; everyone is d...

MMCC - your daughter had the procedure at Georgetown and now you're having it at Georgetown? Any report from her? It has been 12 days and for the first time (8 years) she is actually improving. We ar very excited - no drug has helped her. Headaches are the most important symptom - debilitating and ...

I don't believe there is a personal attack or anything against the board rules in there at all. All I said was if you don't believe in CCSVI why do you come to this board and bother those who want to learn and who do believe? If you don't believe ... just don't get the procedure done, and leave it ...

"Lesions and other hallmarks of MS are detectable in an MRI, but "CCSVI" requires special training in interpreting the images. I think this statement is misleading. I believe that MRI tech's are trained and skilled in reading the MRI's and that not all lesions are MS related. They to...

do you think that the doctors' continuing message to patients will be to continue on your DMD if you appear to be doing well....lesser lesions, no relapses, etc. or will they change their views after this BMJ article's report that these drugs are actually ineffective. If they don't have you continu...

I do think that the CRAB drugs are nothing more than a sophisticated form of symptom management, and do nothing to address the root causes of the disease. In that respect, they've taken the eyes of researchers off the real target, and focused them on the "autoimmune theory" for far too lo...

MMCC I'M from Canada. Here we don't ''lawsuit'' as you do in the state. We have a different medical system than yours... When a canadian is cling for a lawsuit... it is not the same song than when it is an american. CCSVI as nothing to do with drugs.... it is a condition. That can be tested and mec...

Everyone here is demanding that CCSVI be given immediately, and upset because docs won't do it. Part of the answer is in the posts here. "lawsuit, lawsuit, lawsuit....." This is a HUGE reason why IRB's are reluctant and cautious. It can't be both ways. Threaten lawsuit over everything and ...

Zenepax (as the drug is called here) is a WONDERFULLY effective drug. I have been on it once a month IV for more than a year. It works great and I have experienced no side effects. HOWEVER - there are only a very few of us taking this drug outside of the clinical trials. but the company sent a lette...
