I am under the impression that ccsvi treatment (actual surgery) can only be performed abroad (Poland, Bulgaria, India). Can the treatment be performed anywhere in North America? Thank-you.

With respect to the CCSVI procedure, the jugular veins are opened with a balloon. Are stents then placed in the veins to prevent them from closing again? Anyone know when the surgeons would use stents??

Does anyone know anything about CCSVI venoplasty for PPMS?? Is it effective for this form of MS at all? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.
