Hi, I love kombucha and the way it makes my body feel- calm, centered, and happy. I'm about to start drinking it regularly and see what it does for my MS. If anyone is interested, reply to this after a week or so (when my batch is finished brewing) or maybe in a month and I can let you know how it g...

Thank you so much Dr. Sclafani. This really means a lot to me and to all the other MSers, friends, and family in the world. Your work is changing our lives in a way many of us thought was not possible in our lifetimes. I wish you all the best for your work, and success in all you do. Thank you for r...

Where to get scanned in or near Michigan?

I'm so bummed, I thought I was going to get in to Dr. Haacke's scanning-related study at Wayne State, but it turns out that I will not. So, I need to find a place that will do the scans properly, and without cost-prohibitive expense toward myself. Anyone know of a place within reasonable distance of...

In my opinion, as long as you make sure to choose a high-end hospital in India, they are superior to USA hospitals. Nice doctors and more aftercare. So I've seen King Edward Memorial Hospital listed several places as a place to get treatment in Mumbai, India. But, I wish I could update those lists t...

Q regarding emergency follow-up treatments from a hospital

Hello, I hope to get the procedure in January in the USA on the East Coast. My hubby and I wonder if the local hospital would refuse to treat me if I had some emergency thing go wrong with a potential stent or anything related to the procedure. They told me explicitly that they do not support the CC...

Dr. Vogl seems like a great guy but three things to note:
1. I heard he doesn't scan the azygos vein
2. He doesn't use local anesthesia (my own personal feeling is now there's no way I'll go to him!!! I need anaesthesia, sedatives, the whole works.)
3. He does not put in stents. That is his policy.

I've been in contact with Dr. Vogl. He's been very responsive and nice. However, I read the message from someone about him not scanning the Azygos vein (I assume you mean not including it in the venography. I'm getting doppler/mrv here in USA). That is a serious negative if that's true. The price is...

If you get angioplasty against neurologist's recommendations

Hello, My husband just asked a good question. If you get angioplasty against neurologist's recommendations, then you have an emergency and need to be treated locally, will the hospital refuse to treat you? Would insurance bust you? This is a hard question to get answered :) so I wondered if anyone j...

Important Info. for those Getting CCSVI in Mumbai

Hello, Upon Manoj's recommendations in his thread, I called Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai India and actually had the good fortune to speak directly with Dr. Someshwar, who would perform the CCSVI procedure. He had the following to say. I thought it was very useful information for those conside...
