Hi all, The following had been sent for posting on the Proventus website last week but, owing to email rather than phone communication, I was unaware that our web designer was out of the country for 2w and therefore out of the loop. As the lack of fresh content on the site has caused disquiet in som...

Dear Bromley, The question of the granting of a license becomes academic if Daval has been bled to death in the interim. An un-named complainant raised an undisclosed complaint against Daval last year to the DTI who, in the process of their investigations, found nothing untoward other than some comp...

Hi Finn, Jusy a couple of quick (?) points  I agree that Aimspro's early history is not one that automatically inspires faith... but it has come a long way since then and rejection on those grounds alone seems as naive as accepting Aimspro's worth on just a handful of patients. There are, howev...

Dear Finn et al, I thought this thread might benefit from further clarification insofar as information is available… The "American goat serum" has never been tested in a clinical trial in the USA. After visiting its developer's website one can understand why: "I woke up the next morning, and I knew ...

Hi Aaron, If a trial is not being conducted properly by the independent researchers then the manufacturer has EVERY reason to can it. To have to continue and quite possibly end up with unrealistically poor end results seems quite ludicrous to me. Where's the scientific benefit or logic in that? Woul...

Hi Raven, The trial at St George's Hosp. was stopped because the hospital failed to follow agreed protocols on the handling (& storage of the product) in a way that was very likely to have rendered it substantially less effective. I believe it might have been allowed to thaw quite some time before a...

Hi Finn, I entirely agree with you - nothing is PROVEN until the data is in. That is scientific logic. I totally understand people's reservations about anecdotal evidence (such as mine!) but the reason I get to metaphorically jump up and down on my chair is more often than not is in response to blas...

His (the neurologist) statement didn't seem to be commenting on the protocol, more the objectives of the trialS (plural!). Anyway, it certainly made his patient think there was something wrong with the trials! I strongly suspect that THAT WAS the neuro's objective in making his statements and THAT w...

To Billf: - Aimspro has been proposed as a treatment for MS and not a cure - but we can always hope for developments in years to come! Meantime I reckon the VAST majority of MS sufferers wouldn't turn their noses up at ANY effective treatment... To John (JFH): - Your neuro seems quite typical of a n...

Not all patients on the informed consent list are investors by any means. I am not one myself, but that's simply because I don't have the wherewithall at the moment (I wish it was otherwise!). There is absolutely no connection between the two. There are patients, there are investors and there are th...

Regarding the cost of Aimspro... At the moment the product is effectively "handmade" and therefore very expensive. However we (the patients and other investors) have been reliably told that costs of the serum in mass production will be VERY much cheaper indeed. One of Daval's aims is to be able to r...

Sadly the goat serum for MS, Aimspro, is only produced by Daval International and this product is entirely different - it seems to be for use in biologic research and not pharmaceutical treatment.

Hi All, Firstly some personal background on me... one of those 150 from the informed consent pre-trial days. The "goat-serum" was first known as Caprivax but has been renamed Aimspro quite recently. It was initially developed as an HIV treatment but an incredible range of other conditions respond ev...
