Re: Dr. Coimbra Protocol
Antonio, great chart. Some people are a little too cautious with calcium - your body does need some, just not the huge amounts found in dairy. My wife even has an almond or coconut milk yogurt one or twice a week. They do have some added calcium but not as much as real yogurt. I'm guessing the highe...

Re: The Brave Dreams clinical trial of venous PTA
My wife had 3 CCSVI treatments about 6 years ago. The first one helped noticeably for about 4 months, the other 2 did little if anything. I think there is definitely something to the whole CCSVI issue, but we don't have the real answer yet. Perhaps lymphatic drainage is also part of the puzzle.

Why do you need rice bran?1eye wrote:I had trouble getting cellulose filler from the pharmacy, so I started using rice bran. It is the stuff that makes white rice brown, so it is often thrown away, but it contains a lot of vitamin B (is that what the B is for? bran?).

This is old news, but still good news. Biotin is no magic bullet, but can help some people.

I believe that high biotin in your blood affects the chemical the lab uses in many of it's tests. I don't think it affects the thyroid itself, but i could be wrong.

what's with wheat
I just watched this on Netflix the other night - pretty interesting film. Dr Terry Wahls has a big part in it. If you can believe everything in this film, you'll never eat gluten again!

I don't know if this will help CCSVI issues, but it may be worth trying.

Re: Help! Recently diagnosed. Now what?
Recommending 5000-10,000 of D3 is certainly not irresponsible. Yes, it's great to try and have a healthy intake of zinc, B vitamins, and particularly magnesium with MS, taking 10,000 units of D a day is in no way dangerous. My wife is being treated by Dr Michael Holick, one of the world's most respe...

Re: Help! Recently diagnosed. Now what?
Sorry to hear about your dx, but it's not the end of the world. First off, find out what kind of MS you have. RRMS is the most common, but SPMS and PPMS are also possible, depending on your symptoms. A no brainer is to immediately start taking vitamin D3 in fairly large doses (5000-10000 a day). Lot...

LDN does not help everyone. Also look at Dr Coimbra's vitamin D treatment, and MedDay's biotin treatment.
