Re: Partner/Satelite Clinic
I'm no Dr. but in my simple mind, the best (and quickest) way to get up and running would be to partner with another DR. S we know... Had a question for Dr. Siskin about something else and so I mentioned Dr. Sclafani's IRB rejection. Here's what Dr. Siskin replied: I want you to know that I am in c...

Dearest Dr. Sclafani, That is so disappointing to hear about your rejected trial. All I can do is shake my head. One thought: could you use all you have learned to help educate others who are performing the procedure? I have been in contact with Dr. Siskin's office in Albany, NY, and I believe that ...

Cheer,
Dr. Siskin's clinic has a 2 web page spread on his site regarding CCSVI and the fact that they are treating people. Rokkit created a thread on it about a month ago:

Re: some figures
I recall reading that Tokyo, Japan has a similar latitude to Melbourne, Australia. However, in Melbourne the MS rate is high (approx 1 in 1000)...in Tokyo low (approx 1 in 10,000). Interestingly, the rate in Scotland is approx 1 in 250. The rate in neighbouring England and Wales is approx 1 in 1000...

I could be wrong but I seem to remember reading that the doctors in Albany (Siskin, Mandato) do not prescribe anti-coagulants. Maybe someone can confirm that or say that I'm incorrect. I would find this very odd since these drugs are pretty standard for at least a week following a ballooning of the...

Informative link on IRB: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institutional_review_board Institutions that conduct human research and receive funding from Health and Human Services (HHS) must have an IRB that operates according to federal guidelines (i.e., no IRB = no government funding). The IRB process en...
