when I spoke to my OB about CCSVI, he thought it made sense because progesterone is a smooth muscle relaxant (veins are smooth muscles), something about the blood volume increase and possibly the baby requiring extra iron. Also what Lyon wrote about the immune system powering down as to not reject t...

it took three years for me to get diagnosed (the week after my 24th birthday) I had MRI's of my brain that showed nothing for two years and then finally showed some spots in my spine and had the lumbar puncture (I got lucky and had not issues) to confirm. Good luck. It is a tricky disease, if that i...

seems to me like the most important time to take Vit. D is while you are pregnant as most prenatals contain either the 400IU or less dose. Although I guess there is some research that says that it slows the diagnosis, if CCSVI is a congenital anomaly by the time we arrive it is too late to correct t...

I am flabbergasted. Why can't intelligent human beings realize the urgency and potential of this procedure?? Don't they realize by not having well trained people do this, they are putting patients at risk of having the procedure done badly by someone else.? Have you seen the open letter from the Doc...

it took three years to diagnose me in part because they kept doing MRI of only the brain and the finally checked the spine where they found some. I now have them in both locations. Definitely possible to have MS w/o brain lesions. I did have a lumbar puncture to confirm my diagnosis but that was 99 ...

I had two full term pregnancies during MS and felt fabulous the entire time. Even people w/out MS have very different pregnancy experiences.

I am planning to try for a third baby after liberation. I know that you will need to wait until you are done taking anti-coagulants and any other drugs that are counterindicated during pregnancy. Stenting would increase the wait time.

Probably wouldn't hurt to ask a doctor though.
