MS Presentation

The main purpose of this site is to educate and inform those with this disease. There are so many questions as this is a complex disease.

Attached is a video presentation given by Dr Gavin Giovannoni - he is a recipient of one of the large NMSS grants announced in August. I was also referred to him for a second opinion and was impressed by him. He specialises in MS. The presntation lasts for about an hour. The first half is about disease modifying drugs. The second is the more intereting and focuses on the issue of neuro-degeneration and the role of inflammation. De Giovannoni lists possible neuro-protective therapies. If you can spare the time it is well worthwhile.
