Eagle Syndrome as cause of CCSVI

Post by Taurus »

I have MS for last 15 Years. When checked thru MRV/ CT Venogram, my doc says I have stenosis in both IJVs possibly due to Styloid Process i.e. Eagle Syndrome. He thinks that that first the styloid surgery needs to be performed before my liberation treatment. Any Comments from specialists

First, we all have a styloid process - two actually - they are part of the temporal bone of the skull. If the styloid process or its attendant ligaments are causing a constriction of the IJV's then all the 'liberation' in the world will NOT fix your problem.

If your doctor thinks that the styloid process needs to be surgically corrected I say go for it. The liberation that provides should be fairly long lasting.
