In my last (and first - since I am rather newly diagnosed) MRI report of the spine they found apart from MS leasions two hemangioma. Since I haven't had the chance yet to talk to a doctor on that, I googled the word and found out that this seems to be a kind of benign tumor of endothelial cells and that hemangioma can be part of some diseases which have very symptoms very similar to MS.
Are others out there who also know that they have hemangioma?
Hemangioma
Some more research: hemangioma are more common in women than men, there seems to be a link to female hormones and they are genetically more common in "caucasians" (like the venous malformations that Prof. Lee from Georgetown has written about).
Even though they are said to be almost always "harmless", for me, this is one more proof that pwMS have more than everything else VENOUS problems and CCSVI is one manifestation, hemangiomas might be another manifestation.
