MS neurologist in 60464 zip code

Please help. My hustband is the VA hospital because of severe trigeminal neuralgia. They are treating him with anticonvulsants. He does not do well on these. He is very weak. I would like them to do IV steroids. They don't seem to want to. Can someone recommend a neurologist that specializes in MS in the 60464 zip code. Can anyone help with a name?? I need to get him out of there. They are not doing good for him. I am very frustrated. Thanks in advance.

It looks like 60464 is near Chicago. Have you looked into Rush Medical center:

or maybe Northwestern University Hospital?

Pookie,

Dr. Dusan Stefoski is the head of the MS clinic at Rush. His number is 312/942-8011. I have been going to him for years. Both he and the staff are great.

I use to go to Dr. Bruce Cohen at Northwestern. Sorry I don't have his number.

Both of these hospitals are about 40 minutes from the 60464 zip code. The only thing in 60464 is just a small community hospital.

Thanks! As soon as we can get him out of the VA, I will try going there. Just don't know what to do.
