I have read that MS can often be considered a series of mini strokes - If that is the case would this not help ??

i feel it would. just think how a good wiff of fresh air can make you feel. even though this is totally different i know. but, everything needs oxygen to live and be healthy. let alone the benefit it would have against bacteria, viruses etc. athletes use them a lot because of the benefits.

so, after the research i've done on them if one was available "and affordable"where i live i know i'd be useing one.

again, the good old fda hasn't approved it here in the usa for us suffering symptoms they call ms. hmmm, again something that helps but a drug co. isn't pushing it.

See www.omstc.org for location/details. It is very cheap, donation only 22 GBP for non MSers, half for pwMS, for a one hour session. So if you live within a reasonable drive you are welcome to try it. The Centre makes no claims for Oxygen Therapy but there are regular happy users.

I envy how available in the UK this is. Here it is quite expensive, not covered by any insurance. I just read The Oxygen Revolution by Dr. Harch and he gave me a better understanding of how oxygen controls inflammation response... however, I have decided that oral hydrogen peroxide therapy is much more accessible and according to some just as efficacious... you must use food grade hydrogen peroxide if you're going to do this and study it thoroughly before implementing it as there are some potential adverse side effects... for instance, hydrogen peroxide can react to the bacteria in food so you must take hydrogen peroxide on an empty stomach.

You know I have seen the commercials on our local channels for this and have wondered if it would help John in any way. The commercial says they take most insurance and it is at our local hospital, I wonder if they do this therapy for MS pt. I guess I need to call them and find out. Thanks for the reminder.

soapdiva, when i called about it here in pa. they just put one in the hosp. in my hometown. i was told it is not fda approved for ms. so ins. would not cover. there are private self pay "but pricey" and too far for me to travel places. it is a shamewe are denied access to something else that could help.

merlyn, please keep us posted as you try the food grade peroxide. i hope you see positive things from it.
