I was at a friends memorial service yesterday, and a close friend of mine asked why I had some twitching and extreme fatigue going on, I continued to explain to him that I had been diagnosed with MS and this comes along with the territory. He then proceeded to tell me his aunt had MS for 10 years and about a year ago had tried coral calcium. I asked him what the difference was between normal calcium/magnesium pills and coral calcium andalso did some research and found that coral calcium still has active DNA inside of it, compared to regular calcium that has no living entities within in at all. I was wondering if anyone has tried this and if they have had any luck with it. God Bless

Coral Calcium
Re: Coral Calcium
Coral calcium is a well known scam. A Time magazine article from 2003: http://www.time.com/time/columnist/jaro ... 84,00.htmlRazzoSox21 wrote:I was at a friends memorial service yesterday, and a close friend of mine asked why I had some twitching and extreme fatigue going on, I continued to explain to him that I had been diagnosed with MS and this comes along with the territory. Even if it does contain DNA, it is not alive.
There are other supplements which are worthwhile. Don't waste your money on coral calcium. Instead, try a balanced calcium, magnesium and zinc supplement along with vitamin D3. Omega-3 fatty acids such as DHA and EPA from fish oil are also good. In addition, antioxidants such as EGCG from green tea and r-lipoic acid are helpful too.

I might be posting this twice as I did one from my BlackBerry and did not know if it meant through. The current vitamin regimen that I am on was given to me by old old team that I played for (obviously cannot be on the field anymore with all that is going on ) however the Nutritionist an d Team Neuro were kind enough to sit down with me for a few hours and give me this list of supplements/vitamins that can assist with MS. Please let me know if there is anything missing or this list is totally wrong...God Bless All
