Vibrations

Post by daredhead »

Hi, I'm new here but I'll do the intro thing later when my fingers are cooperating more. I'm having a new symptom or problem & I'm wondering if anyone else has this. 2 days ago I started having numbness/tingling in my feet & legs. It was bearable. Last night, though, it hit with a vengeance. It feels like it does when you sit on one of those vibrating message chairs, only there is no off switch. It started in both my feet up through my knees. Now it is in my fingers up to my elbows as well. I don't know if it's just another annoying syptom to deal with or if it's time to call my Neuro. What do you think/know about this?

I take oral prednisone for a relapse and in monthly pulses (75mg/day for 3 days, no taper), and notice that the tingling is one of the first things to improve.

I get this as well, mostly down my back and arms and hands, but sometimes in the legs as well. I've often commented that I feel like there's a cell phone set to vibrate lodged in my spine! It's also due to a cervical spine lesion for me. Actually it's probably the most often recurring of my flare-ups since my diagnosis. The one thing that has worked for me quite well is liquid sublingual B-complex, taken daily. My B-12 levels went from too low to too high in a fairly short period of time. But I feel better when they're too high, so I've decided to just stay with it anyway. (Note: by too high, I mean high enough to be flagged on the blood test results, but not so high as to cause any medical concern).
