If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

no reflexes on left side of body during test

Post by inlimbo86 »

At a recent appointment my Dr reported no reflexes when performing the tap test on my knee and forearm. Has anyone experienced this as a symptom? Worried until I see the doctor again.

I believe a lack of reflexes is more likely from pinched (or otherwise mechanically disturbed) nerves. My understanding is that MS is generally the opposite: hyper reflexes rather than missing ones.

You should get a physiatrist to check that out.
