Albany Study: any results yet?

Post by 1eye »

Evaluation of Angioplasty in the Treatment of Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI) in Multiple Sclerosis
Community Care Physicians, P.C.

Estimated Enrollment: 130
Study Start Date: August 2010
Estimated Study Completion Date: August 2013
Estimated Primary Completion Date: August 2012 (Final data collection date for primary outcome measure)

Since Primary Completion was to have been last summer, any news? Have I missed any hints or are they feverishly compiling in a secret location?

I know, it would be on the government site first. I'm just impatient.

I'm on BNAC patient advisory board, and I don't believe that any preliminary results have yet been revealed. With the big annual AAN meeting coming up, I expect we should get a lot of info out of Dr. Zivadinov and his team pretty soon. They're doing some pretty interesting stuff involving statistical analysis to try to separate the wheat from the chaff in much of their research…
